What you'll achieve
Know how many SMS you can send, how much your message costs and when your credits expire.
Before you start
You need sending permission on your account.
Steps
- In the side menu open SMS → SMS credits.
- Check your balance and the expiration date. Credits last 6 months from your last top-up.
- In the Message calculator type your text and the number of recipients. You'll see the characters, the parts and the total cost in credits.
- To buy more, click Top up.

How credits are counted
- 1 credit = 1 message part per recipient.
- A message with standard characters allows 160 characters per part (153 if it needs several parts).
- If the text has accents like á, í, ó, ú, or emojis, each part only allows 70 characters (67 if there are several). Removing those characters makes sending cheaper.
- Your SMS credits are separate from email credits.
Expected result
You know how much your campaign will cost before you send it.
Common issues
“Your account has no SMS credits”
You haven't topped up yet.
“Your SMS credits have expired”
Top up to send again.
“You would exceed your daily SMS cap”
Your account has a limit of parts per day; contact support if you need it raised.
When to contact support
If you paid for a top-up and it doesn't appear, send the order number.
