What you'll achieve
Decide what your contacts can do from your emails' unsubscribe link, whether Archie Send tracks opens and clicks, and automatically add the sender's details to every campaign (legal name, tax ID, address and privacy policy).
Before you start
- Sign in with a user that has permission for Sending settings (your account Administrator has it).
- Have at hand your legal name, your NIT or tax ID, your address and the link to your privacy policy.
- These texts are for information only: check with your lawyer what you must include according to your country (in Colombia, Law 1581 of 2012).
Steps
- In the side menu, go to My account → Sending settings. Screenshot: My account menu with Sending settings highlighted
- Scroll down to 4. Privacy and turn each option on or off:
- Allow blocking from the unsubscribe page: the contact can ask to receive nothing else.
- Allow managing preferences: the contact changes their name and their lists.
- Allow downloading their data: they receive a copy of their data by email.
- Allow deleting their data: they can delete their record.
- Save the IP when confirming the subscription: it serves as proof of consent.
- Turn off open and click tracking: you won't see those statistics.
- Track per contact: if you turn it off, statistics will be anonymous.

- In 5. Legal details turn on Add this footer to all my campaigns and fill in the legal name, tax ID (with its label, for example “NIT 900.123.456-7”) and address. The privacy policy link and additional text are optional. Screenshot: section 5. Legal details filled in
- Click Save privacy and legal details.
Expected result
The notice “Privacy and legal details saved” appears. From then on, every campaign you send includes your legal details at the end. Changes reach sending in less than a minute. Screenshot: received email with the legal footer at the end
Common issues
“Legal name, tax ID and address are required to turn on the legal footer”
Fill in those three fields or turn off the footer.

Enter the full link, starting with https://.
I don't see open or click statistics
Check whether you turned off tracking. If it says the platform has it turned off, that applies to all accounts.
I changed the options and an email went out with the old ones
Emails that were already being prepared aren't changed.
When to contact support
If you can't find the section, can't save, or the footer doesn't appear after sending a test. Tell us your account name, the approximate time and what you see on screen (screenshot).
