Activar un correo de bienvenida en una lista

Updated 24 Oct 2026 · 2 min read

What you'll achieve

Make every person who subscribes to a list automatically get a welcome email, just once.

Before you start

  • You need a list and available sending credits (each welcome costs 1 credit).
  • The welcome is only sent to people who subscribe through a public form. It isn't sent to imported or manually added contacts.

Steps

  1. Go to Contacts > Lists and open the list you want to edit. Screenshot: lists screen with the edit button
  2. Scroll down to the section Welcome email and turn on the switch. Screenshot: welcome section turned on
  3. Type the subject (a single line, maximum 150 characters).
  4. Type the message. You can use {nombre} and {lista}; they're replaced with the person's name and the list name. Leave a blank line to separate paragraphs. If you want to go back to the original text, click Use the base text.
  5. Check the preview and click Save.

When it's sent

  • List with single opt-in: when the form is submitted.
  • List with double opt-in: when the person clicks the confirmation link.

Expected result

Whoever subscribes gets an email with your message and the unsubscribe link.

Common issues

The welcome didn't arrive

Check that the switch is on, that the person subscribed through a public form (not imported) and that you have credits. If there are no credits, the daily limit was reached or sending is paused, the email waits up to 3 days and is then discarded.

It was sent only once even though the person subscribed again

That's expected; each person receives a list's welcome only once.

{nombre} appears empty

If the person didn't give their name, the word is left out.

When to contact support

If you meet all of the above and it still doesn't arrive, write to us with the list name and the approximate time of the subscription.
