What you'll achieve
Know how many emails you can send today, why the limit goes up every day and what happens with a large campaign.
Why it exists
Email providers distrust a new sender that suddenly sends thousands of messages. So your emails reach the inbox and not spam, your account “warms up”: it starts by sending a little and increases every day.
How it works
- On the first day you send, the limit is 500 emails.
- Each following day the limit doubles: 1.000, 2.000, 4.000, 8.000, 16.000…
- The limit has a daily maximum (20,000 by default). If you need more, write to us.
- Emails counted include campaigns and confirmation emails for subscriptions.
- Days are counted in Colombia time: the counter resets at midnight.
Where you see it
In Settings → Sending settings, at the top, under “Your daily sending limit”: how many you've sent today, how many you can send and how many you'll be able to send tomorrow. Screenshot: “Your daily sending limit” box in Sending settings
What happens if my campaign is larger than the limit
- The campaign sends up to today's limit and stops on its own. No credits are charged for what wasn't sent.
- It continues automatically the next day, with the new limit, from where it left off. You don't have to do anything.
- A 10,000-contact campaign for a new account will take several days to complete (500 + 1,000 + 2,000 + 4,000 + 2,500).
Common issues
“My campaign says ‘in progress’ but isn't moving”
It probably reached today's limit. Check the daily limit box; it will continue tomorrow.
“My new subscribers aren't getting confirmation emails”
If you reached the day's limit, those emails wait and go out the next day.
“I need to send faster”
Write to us. If your domain already had a good reputation, we can adjust the warm-up.
When to contact support
If you need a higher limit or think the counter is wrong. Send your account name and a screenshot of the daily limit box.
