What you'll achieve
Understand what data the chat stores, how your visitors are informed and how to delete information when someone asks.
What's stored
The answers the person types in the chat (for example name, email or phone), the conversation messages, the date they accepted data processing and the address of the site they wrote from. We don't use chat cookies.
Consent
Before starting, the chat shows a consent text and a link to your privacy policy. The person must click “Accept and continue”. You tell us the text and link; we set them up. Your privacy policy must explain what you use this data for and how to exercise their rights (Law 1581 of 2012). Check the final text with a lawyer.
How long it's kept
Conversations are deleted automatically 365 days after their last activity, unless we agree on another period (between 30 days and 10 years).
Delete a person's data
If a person asks us to delete their information, write to us with the approximate date and the data they left in the chat. We find their conversation and delete it along with all its messages. Data your system already received by webhook must be deleted by you in your system.
