What you'll achieve
Have the bot look up your products, quote shipping and leave the order ready with your store's payment link.
Before you start
- Be an administrator of your WooCommerce store and of the editor.
- Create a read/write API key in WooCommerce (WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > REST API). The keys are shown only once.
Steps
- In the editor click AI assistant in the sidebar and scroll down to the store section.
- Type the Store domain and paste the Consumer key (ck_…) and the Consumer secret (cs_…). Screenshot: store form
- Click Connect and verify (if it was already connected, it says Reconnect). The fields clear instantly and the keys are stored encrypted.
- Check that the store shows as connected. To remove it use Disconnect store.
Expected result
The bot can search your products and prepare orders. Payment happens in your store, with the gateway you already have installed; the bot never asks for card details.
Common issues
Connection error
Confirm that the address starts with https and that the keys are read/write.
Shipping isn't quoted
Only flat rate, free shipping over a minimum amount and in-store pickup are quoted; with other methods, the bot hands off to a person.
Different prices
The bot always uses your store's price; it doesn't give discounts.
When to contact support
If the connection fails with correct keys. Don't send us the keys by chat or email.
