What you'll achieve
Have your bot reply to direct messages on your Instagram account and your Facebook page.
Before you start
- Instagram: a professional account (business or creator) linked to a Facebook page.
- Messenger: a Facebook page you're an administrator of.
- An access token with messaging permissions for that account or page, and its numeric ID, from the Meta for Developers panel. Our team will support you; don't share the token by chat or email.
- An administrator API key and a published flow.
Steps
- In the editor, click Channels in the sidebar.
- In Connect a channel, choose Instagram o Messenger.
- Enter a name, the ID (of the Instagram account or the page) and the token. Click Connect channel.
- Click Test connection.
- Send a direct message to the account from another profile and check the reply.
Expected result
Direct messages get the flow's replies. Button options arrive as quick replies.
Common issues
Meta rejects the token
Check that it's from the same account or page and has messaging permissions.
It doesn't reply to first-time writers outside 24 hours

When to write to us
With the channel name, the time of the test and the message you see on screen. Without sending the token.
