What you'll achieve
Find out what happened with an opportunity's automatic follow-up rules: which ones created a task and why others were skipped.
Before you start
- The history only exists for opportunities that have already been saved.
- It shows the last 50 rule evaluations by stage since the history was turned on.
- If you're not an administrator, you can only see opportunities that are yours.
Steps
- Open Sales CRM > Pipelines o All leads.
- Open the opportunity by clicking its card or its title.
- Scroll to the bottom of the panel and look for Automation history.
- Read each entry: task name, stage, result, and date and time.
- Click Refresh to reload the list.
- Interpret the result:
- Follow-up created: the rule worked.
- Skipped: the source doesn't match. The lead's source isn't the one configured.
- Skipped: the currency doesn't match.
- Skipped: the value is below the minimum.
- Skipped: a pending follow-up already exists.
- On hold: the rule was paused.
- Task canceled when the stage changed.
- Sequence stopped: the opportunity changed stages.
- Sequence stopped: the rule was deleted.

Expected result
You understand why a task was or wasn't created, and you can ask an administrator to adjust the rule if needed.
Common issues
“This opportunity doesn't have any recorded evaluations yet.”
No rules have applied yet, or the opportunity predates the history.
I expected a task and there's no entry.
Check that the stage has an active rule (automatic follow-ups guide) and that the opportunity entered that stage after the rule was created.
An error appears when loading.
Click Refresh.
I don't see the section.
It only appears when you open an existing opportunity, not when you create a new one.
