They don't send messages to your customers.<\/li>\n<li>They don't apply to Won or Lost.<\/li>\n<li>The first task lasts 15 minutes and is assigned to the opportunity's owner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>In <strong>Sales CRM &gt; Pipelines<\/strong>, open the three-dot menu (<strong>Pipeline options<\/strong>) and choose <strong>Configure pipeline<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Scroll down to <strong>Automatic follow-up by stage<\/strong>. You'll see a checkbox for each open stage.<\/li>\n<li>Check the box for the stage you want to automate.<\/li>\n<li>Type the <strong>Task title<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>In <strong>Hours after entering (0\u2013720)<\/strong>\u00a0sets how long should pass from when the opportunity enters the stage until the task is due.<\/li>\n<li>To add steps, in <strong>Additional follow-ups<\/strong>\u00a0click <strong>Add follow-up<\/strong>. Each step has its title and the <strong>Hours since the previous step is completed (0\u2013720)<\/strong>. You can have up to 5 tasks in total. Reorder them with <strong>Move up<\/strong>\u00a0y <strong>Move down<\/strong>, or remove one with <strong>Remove follow-up<\/strong>. The next step is created when you complete the previous one.<\/li>\n<li>If you want conditions, fill in <strong>Exact source (optional)<\/strong>\u00a0y <strong>Minimum value (optional, use a decimal point)<\/strong>\u00a0with its <strong>Currency<\/strong>\u00a0(<strong>Select currency<\/strong>). All conditions must be met; if you leave them empty, it applies to all opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>If you don't want duplicates, check &#8220;Don't create if this opportunity already has a pending follow-up, even a manual one.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>To pause, go back to <strong>Configure pipeline<\/strong>, open the stage and uncheck <strong>Rule active<\/strong>: it changes to <strong>Rule paused<\/strong>. Click <strong>Save<\/strong>. If you pause the rule, no new steps are created, and tasks already created are kept.<\/p>\n<h2>Common issues<\/h2>\n<details>\n<summary>The task wasn't created.<\/summary>\n<p>A condition may not have been met (source, currency or minimum value), there may already have been a pending follow-up, or the rule may have been paused. Check the <strong>Automation history<\/strong>\u00a0of the opportunity (separate guide).<\/p>\n<\/details>\n<details>\n<summary>I changed the rule and it didn't affect opportunities already in the stage.<\/summary>\n<p>Changes don't act on what came before, only on new entries.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n<details>\n<summary>I changed stages and tasks were canceled.<\/summary>\n<p>That's expected: changing stages cancels the pending tasks from the previous stage.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n<details>\n<summary>The task was created for someone else.<\/summary>\n<p>It's assigned to whoever owns the opportunity at that moment.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n<details>\n<summary>I can't save.<\/summary>\n<p>Check that the title isn't empty and the hours are between 0 and 720.
