The sales team can see the catalog but not change it.<\/li>\n<li>Have at hand, for each product or service: name, internal code (SKU), unit price, tax percentage and currency (Colombian peso or dollar).<\/li>\n<li>The products in a quote must have the same currency as the opportunity you'll link it to. If you sell in COP and USD, create one product per currency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>In the side menu open <strong>Sales CRM<\/strong>\u00a0and click <strong>Products and quotes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Scroll down to the section <strong>Catalog<\/strong>. If there's nothing yet, you'll see the message &#8220;Add products or services to create quotes.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>New product<\/strong>, at the top right. <span class=\"ay-captura\">Screenshot: Products and quotes screen with the New product button<\/span><\/li>\n<li>In <strong>Name<\/strong>\u00a0type how you want your customer to see it (up to 160 characters).<\/li>\n<li>In <strong>Code (SKU)<\/strong>\u00a0type an internal code (required, up to 80 characters).<\/li>\n<li>If you like, fill in <strong>Description<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>In <strong>Currency<\/strong>\u00a0choose <strong>Colombian peso (COP)<\/strong>\u00a0o <strong>US dollar (USD)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>In <strong>Unit price<\/strong>\u00a0type the value with a decimal point and no thousands separators. Examples: 1500000 or 1500000.50 (maximum two decimals).<\/li>\n<li>In <strong>Tax (%)<\/strong>\u00a0type a number between 0 and 100. Type 0 if it doesn't apply.<\/li>\n<li>Leave the box checked <strong>Active<\/strong>\u00a0so the product can be used in quotes.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Save<\/strong>. <span class=\"ay-captura\">Screenshot: Product or service form<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Repeat from step 3 for each product or service.<\/li>\n<li>To correct a product, click <strong>Edit<\/strong>\u00a0on its card, change what you need and press <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>To stop offering a product, click <strong>Edit<\/strong>, uncheck <strong>Active<\/strong>\u00a0and press <strong>Save<\/strong>. This screen has no button to delete products.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Expected result<\/h2>\n<p>Each product appears as a card in the section <strong>Catalog<\/strong>, with its name, code and price. Active products can now be chosen when creating a quote.<\/p>\n<h2>Common issues<\/h2>\n<details>\n<summary>I don't see the New product or Edit button.<\/summary>\n<p>Your user isn't an administrator. Ask an administrator at your company to create or change the products.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n<details>\n<summary>The message &#8220;Couldn't save or load. Check products, currency, opportunity and quantities.&#8221; appears.<\/summary>\n<p>Check that the price uses a period (not a comma) and has no thousands separators, that the tax is between 0 and 100 and that Name, Code (SKU) and Currency are filled in.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n<details>\n<summary>My product doesn't appear when creating a quote.<\/summary>\n<p>Check that it's marked as <strong>Active<\/strong>\u00a0and that its currency matches the opportunity's.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n<details>\n<summary>I changed a price and an already published quote still shows the old value.<\/summary>\n<p>That's expected: prices are locked when the quote is created, and once published it doesn't change.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n<details>\n<summary>The New quote button is disabled.<\/summary>\n<p>You need at least one product and one opportunity in the CRM.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n<h2>When to contact support<\/h2>\n<p>Write to us if the product won't save even though the details are correct, or if you see products you didn't create.
