Below, the flow reads from top to bottom: first the dark block <strong>\u00abStarts when\u00bb<\/strong>, then your blocks (emails show as \u00abEmail 1\u00bb, \u00abEmail 2\u00bb\u2026 with the subject and a preview; waits are small pills) and at the end <strong>\u00abEnd of flow\u00bb<\/strong>. Between one block and the next there's a button <strong>+<\/strong>\u00a0to add something right there. When you tap a block, a <strong>panel<\/strong>\u00a0opens on the right to edit it.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"ay-captura\">Screenshot: full flow with block bar<\/span> <span class=\"ay-captura\">Screenshot: selected block with the panel open<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Steps (with a recipe)<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>In the side menu, go to <strong>Automations<\/strong>. <span class=\"ay-captura\">Screenshot: automation list and \u00abWelcome series\u00bb recipe<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Under \u00abStart with a recipe\u00bb, click <strong>Use this recipe<\/strong>\u00a0on \u00abWelcome series\u00bb.<\/li>\n<li>Tap the block <strong>Starts when<\/strong>\u00a0and choose the <strong>list<\/strong>\u00a0people subscribe to.<\/li>\n<li>Tap each email block and change it to your liking in the panel. You can use {nombre} and {lista}.<\/li>\n<li>Enter a name at the top and click <strong>Save<\/strong>. It stays as a draft and doesn't send anything yet.<\/li>\n<li>When you're ready, click <strong>Save and activate<\/strong>\u00a0and confirm.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Create one from scratch<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Click <strong>New automation<\/strong>\u00a0(top right) and give it a name.<\/li>\n<li>Tap <strong>Starts when<\/strong>\u00a0and choose whether it starts when someone subscribes to a list or when a contact's date arrives.<\/li>\n<li>Add blocks in any of these ways: click the button <strong>+<\/strong>\u00a0between two blocks and choose the type; <strong>drag<\/strong>\u00a0a tile from the top bar to the \u00abDrop here\u00bb area; or tap a tile to add it at the end.<\/li>\n<li>To change the order, drag a block to another place (or use the up and down arrows on the block). To remove it, use the trash icon.<\/li>\n<li>A block in coral red tells you what's missing. There must be at least one email.<\/li>\n<li>Save and activate.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>How it works<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>People enter the automation when they subscribe through a public form (on double opt-in lists, when they confirm). Imports and manually added contacts don't enter.<\/li>\n<li>Each person enters an automation only once. For date-based ones, once a year.<\/li>\n<li>A <strong>condition<\/strong>\u00a0only lets through those who meet it; those who don't leave the automation.<\/li>\n<li>If someone unsubscribes from the list, they leave the automation.<\/li>\n<li>Date-based ones are sent at the time you choose (Colombia time). If you activate it after that time, it starts the next day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Expected result<\/h2>\n<p>In the Automations list you'll see the status \u00abActive\u00bb and how many people are \u00abIn progress\u00bb and how many \u00abFinished\u00bb.<\/p>\n<h2>To edit an active automation<\/h2>\n<p>Click <strong>Pause to edit<\/strong>, make the changes, save and activate it again. If you only change text, timing or lists, people already inside continue where they were. If you change the order or type of blocks, people inside leave the automation.<\/p>\n<h2>Common issues<\/h2>\n<details>\n<summary>I can't drag blocks (phone or tablet)<\/summary>\n<p>Use the button <strong>+<\/strong>\u00a0between blocks to add them and the block's arrows to move it.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n<details>\n<summary>Nothing is sent<\/summary>\n<p>Check that it's \u00abActive\u00bb, that you have credits (My account \u2192 Credits) and that your sending isn't paused or hasn't hit the daily limit. If an email can't go out, it waits and is discarded after 3 days.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n<details>\n<summary>It won't let me save or activate<\/summary>\n<p>The message tells you which block is incomplete; the chosen list may also have been deleted, so choose another one.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n<details>\n<summary>It won't let me edit it<\/summary>\n<p>It's active; pause it first.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n<details>\n<summary>The birthday email isn't sent<\/summary>\n<p>Check that the field exists on the contacts, that the name matches exactly and that the date is in YYYY-MM-DD format.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n<h2>When to contact support<\/h2>\n<p>If it still doesn't send after checking the above, write to us with the automation name and the email of a contact who should have received it.
