To save segments or apply actions you also need permission to manage contacts.<\/li>\n<li>Filters only show contacts from your account.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Steps<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>In the menu go to <strong>Subscribers<\/strong>\u00a0(All subscribers). Next to the search bar you'll see three round buttons: the magnifying glass (search), the funnel (<strong>Filters<\/strong>) and the download arrow (<strong>Export<\/strong>). Click the funnel. <span class=\"ay-captura\">Screenshot: search bar with the magnifying glass, Filters and Export icons<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Choose <strong>Match<\/strong>: <em>All rules<\/em>\u00a0(all must be met) or <em>Any of the rules<\/em>\u00a0(one is enough).<\/li>\n<li>In the first rule choose what you want to check:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Email<\/strong>\u00a0o <strong>Name<\/strong>: contains, doesn't contain, is equal to, is different from, starts with or ends with. Upper and lower case don't matter.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Contact status<\/strong>: Active or Blocked.<\/li>\n<li><strong>List<\/strong>: is on a list (with any status, confirmed, unconfirmed or unsubscribed), isn't on it, or isn't on any list.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Creation date<\/strong>\u00a0o <strong>update date<\/strong>: on, before or after the day (Colombia time).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Custom attribute<\/strong>: type the attribute name (for example city) and compare it; with numbers you can use &#8220;greater than&#8221; or &#8220;less than&#8221;; you can also ask for &#8220;has a value&#8221; or &#8220;has no value&#8221;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"ay-captura\">Screenshot: rules with email, list and date<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Click <strong>Add rule<\/strong>\u00a0to add more conditions (up to 20).<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Apply filters<\/strong>. The table shows the matching contacts and the total appears at the top, next to the title.<\/li>\n<li>To save the filter, click <strong>Save as new segment<\/strong>, type a name and confirm. Next time, choose it in <strong>Saved segment<\/strong>\u00a0and it's applied automatically. <span class=\"ay-captura\">Screenshot: Saved segment dropdown<\/span><\/li>\n<li>To change a segment, load it, adjust the rules, click <strong>Update the selected segment<\/strong>\u00a0and confirm the name. To remove it, click <strong>Delete segment<\/strong>\u00a0(the contacts aren't deleted).<\/li>\n<li>With the filter applied you can click the download icon (<strong>Export<\/strong>) to download the filtered contacts, or select all and use <strong>Blocklist<\/strong>\u00a0(block), <strong>Delete<\/strong>\u00a0(delete) or <strong>Manage lists<\/strong>\u00a0(manage lists); for now those three buttons appear in English.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Expected result<\/h2>\n<p>You only see the contacts that meet your rules, with their total. Your segments are saved in your account.<\/p>\n<h2>Common issues<\/h2>\n<details>\n<summary>&#8220;Complete rule N or remove it&#8221;<\/summary>\n<p>That rule has an empty field.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n<details>\n<summary>&#8220;You already have a segment with that name&#8221;<\/summary>\n<p>Choose another one (upper and lower case aren't distinguished).<\/p>\n<\/details>\n<details>\n<summary>&#8220;You've reached the maximum number of saved segments&#8221;<\/summary>\n<p>You can save up to 50; delete one you no longer use.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n<details>\n<summary>An attribute doesn't appear in the results<\/summary>\n<p>The name must be written the same as on the contact (for example city). With &#8220;greater than&#8221; or &#8220;less than&#8221; only numeric values are compared.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n<details>\n<summary>My list filter returns zero results<\/summary>\n<p>Check the chosen subscription status (for example &#8220;confirmed&#8221;).<\/p>\n<\/details>\n<details>\n<summary>Before deleting or blocking in bulk,<\/summary>\n<p>Look at the total shown at the top: the action applies to everyone who matches the filter, not just those on the page.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n<h2>When to contact support<\/h2>\n<p>If the filter shows an error you don't understand or the results don't match what you expect.
